I’m in the process of designing a PCB for an Akai S612 sampler that will automate two sliders that control both the playback position and loop point of a sampled sound. Real-time voltage control of the sliders allows for granular synthesis / highly-dynamic sample playback.
The main LFO circuit is based (heavily) on this design by Yusynth. An Atmega328 running Arduino resets the LFO on new notes, and converts the modulation wheel data to a control voltage for modulation. Additional voltage processing converts the LFO output to 0-5V and adds a variable offset to the second LFO voltage output.
