On Tuesday, March 31st, mark your calenders as Sony evidently has something BIG to say! SmartHouse reports that the company is set to make a global announcement regarding the PlayStation 3!
Obviously, no one is saying a thing, but the rumors have been swirling about the proposed price drop, with Sony even recently being publicly pressured by third-party publishers to make the cuts soon.
Considering that March 31st also happens to mark the end of Sony's current fiscal year, a PS3 price drop announcement wouldn't be unreasonable to expect.
Another possibility could be a price drop for the PS2 to $99 or even a drop for the PSP. But as is often the case, we'll just have to wait until tomorrow to see what Sony has in store.
