BREAKING NEWS: 50 CENT RUSHED TO THE HOSPITAL
After a long weekend of activites, including performing, throwing a festival in his old neighborhood in Queens, and preparing for his upcoming Thisis50 Concert, 50 Cent has definitely been working hard.
This afternoon while in his Manhattan offices, employees say that 50 Cent was listening to Fat Joe's new album, "J.O.S.E. 2" when all the sudden, he collapsed! An ambulance was called, and by the time they arrived, 50 Cent regained consciousness and was complaining of blurred vision and a severe migraine. 50 Cent was rushed to Mt. Sinai hospital at 4:26 pm.
Doctors say after performing a Cat Scan and EKG there seems to be some damage to his auditory cortex, which is the region of the brain that is responsible for processing sound.

Fabolous Hospitalized, Believes He Was Poisoned!!!!
Fabolous cleared up rumors that he had been in a car accident yesterday (Sept. 27), but it turns out the rumors weren't completely unfounded.
According to the rapper's Twitterpage, Fabolous was rushed to the hospital after getting sick and nearly passing out while driving.
As indicated, Fabolous was released from the hospital last night, and showed his appreciation for conerned fans, writing "Again thanks 4 ur concern & prayers.. I'm ok, No car accident, jus a lil sick.. Imma shake it off and GO IN on somebody later LOL!! (Pause)."
Fabolous is currently working on an as-of-yet untitled supergroup with NeYo and Ryan Leslie.

According to sandrarose.com, Kanye West has 99 problems and hard liquor is just one of them. We don’t believe Kanye’s camp when they say his drinking problem made him go onstage and act a fool at the VMAs. But we do give Kanye’s camp a little credit for trying.
We know that Kanye had some sort of promo deal with Hennessy or he wouldn’t have had that bottle in his hand for the entire show. It was also revealed that both Kanye and Taylor Swift are represented by the same agent. So there you have it.

Rumor has it Kanye is considering checking into rehab! According to Star, Kanye has been boozing ever since his mother Donda died one day after receiving a tummy tuck in November 2007.
An insider tells the mag, “His drinking is getting worse — and when he has too much, he can be mean and obnoxious. If he doesn’t get help soon, things could really spiral out of control.”
Apparently he’s planning on checking in after his Fame Kills tour with Lady Gaga wraps up in January. “Kanye’s afraid to go to rehab, but he knows he needs help and is taking steps in the right direction.”
Why wait until the tour is over to go into rehab? Why not go now? Because this excuse, like everything else Kanye does, is a bunch of BS.
50 Cent Believes BISD Can Match The Impact Of His Debut But Won't Sell As Big
50 Cent says that his upcoming album Before I Self Destruct could make more of an impact than his debut, Get Rich or Die Tryin'.
The New York-born rapper is confident the break since his last album has paid off and that he's hoping for great things.
"I had more time to work on this record. I usually put an album out every two years, so this is almost an additional year," he said.
"This record could potentially be the one to top Get Rich or Die Tryin'. I think it could impact as hard, but not necessarily sell as much."
He also admitted the timing of the release was him "being smart enough not to come down the track while the Eminem train is coming".

However, there could still be a clash, with reports that Eminem will release the Relapse 2 during the same month.
50, who grew up in the tough New York city neighbourhood of Jamaica, Queens and famously served time for drug dealing, also insisted that gangster rap was as relevant as ever.
"People are still living under these circumstances," he insisted. "They ID with it because they have similar struggles or have experienced something similar. They enjoy it (gangsta rap) with a different intensity."

Eminem paid tribute to one of his idols LL Cool J at the VH1 Hip Hop Honours in New York on Wednesday night
He was joined by legendary Rap-Band The Roots onstage for a rendition of LL Cool J’s hit Rock The Bells.
Eminem was actually unannounced and surprised the audience when he join Roots star Black Thought at the Howard Gilman Opera House in Brooklyn.
The Roots were also involved in the performance highlight of the event, teaming up with Public Enemy, Rage Against The Machine star Tom Morello and Sweeper Social Club for 1987 anthem Rebel Without a Pause.
Other live collaborations included Wale, KRS-One and Gym Class Heroes' rock version of the Beastie Boys' No Sleep 'Til Brooklyn, Gym Class Heroes' hook-up with DMX on Party Up.

WTF: Study Says Rap Music Causes Car Crashes
A new study in the U.K. has found that drivers who listen to Hip-Hop music are most at risk to be involved in an accident.
A survey of 2000 people conducted by Auto Trader magazine found that almost half of the drivers admitted that rap music changed their mood while driving.
Additionally the survey found that 1 in 5 drivers became aggressive, while listening to songs by rappers like Eminem, Jay-Z, Dizzee Rascal.
Only six percent of the drivers became relaxed while listening to the genre of music.
"We all know the drivers who play loud, pounding rap music where you can hear the ground shake before they arrive,” said Neil Grieg, Director of Policy and Research of The Institute of Advanced Motorists.
Grieg told ANI News Service that police do not note what type of music a driver is listening to when they are involved in collisions.
"If people recognize within themselves that they were listening to a certain type of music when they had road rage problems or crashes, it would be worth them considering changing the music," Grieg said. "But if you listen to rap music in the car, you are most likely to be young and male and unfortunately that is the target group least likely to listen to road safety advice.”

Dr. Dre Develops ‘Beats Audio’ Software — Debuts It With New HP Envy Laptop
Dr. Dre has done so well with his technology collaborations -- specifically his headphones line, Beats By Dre -- that he's teaming up with another electronics company for yet another product.
According to WhoooHa.com, the legendary producer has teamed up with a collabo version of HP's laptop, the HP Envy. As you can see from the photos, it features the recognizable "Beats" logo as well.
The company calls the collabo the "Mac killer," and will not only boast a sleek design, but also feature cutting edge sound. HP says the laptop will feature a "cutting-edge" sound system, named "Beats Audio," designed by Dr. Dre's sound engineers, who help develop Dre's tracks and design the Beats by Dre headphone line.
HP says: "[Dre has] ... a unique, high-performance audio software solution. Available exclusively on the HP Envy, Beats Audio offers users playing music or audio through headphones or external speakers the optimal sound experience -- the way the artist intended it."
Further details about the laptop and software were not revealed, but it's expected to hit sores on October 18th, and will retail for $1,699.
There's rumors the purchase also includes a pair of Beats by Dre headphones, but this was not confirmed at press time.

Nelly Furtado: I Want To Work With Eminem
Nelly Furtado has revealed she would love to work with Eminem.
The Maneater singer said she would like to collaborate with the Lose Yourself rapper to find out how he ticks.
She said: "I would like to collaborate with creative people like Eminem, he's so creative and so out there, it'd be fun to see what that looks like in the studio - it would be interesting to see his creative process, I'd probably learn a lot so it would be a real learning experience."
Nelly would also like to work with Madonna.
"I think that would be really fun. Maybe for my next album," she added.
The Portuguese-Canadian star, who has worked with Timbaland, Justin Timberlake and James Morrison, counts working with Missy Elliott on the remix of Get Your Freak On among her favourite experiences in the studio.
"It was really early on in my career and it really opened a lot of doors for me in the hip-hop world," Nelly explained. "A lot of people hadn't heard about me until they saw the video and connected with it. That's one of my favourite collaborations, because 10 years later, I get producers telling me that it's one of their favourite ever. It was really special. That's the one I'm most proud of."

50 Cent to Appear on Rachael Ray's DayTime Talk Show Today
The name Curtis Jackson might not be familiar to most people, but mention his nickname "50 Cent" and all sorts of things come to mind: award-winning rapper, movie star, clothing entrepreneur, author ... is there anything he'd like to tackle next? "You know what I was thinking," he tells Rachael, "maybe 50Cent/Rachael Ray 'Tougher Tupperware?'"
"I'd be into that!" laughs Rachael.
The mogul's latest projects are his new book, The 50th Law, and his scent called Power. 50 Cent recalls the first time he ever wore cologne. "It was Creed," he recounts, "and a female friend of mine gave it to me and I think she was giving me a hint that I needed to smell better - Right Guard don't cut it!"
Rachael ask 50 Cent how he got his famous moniker. "There was a guy from Brooklyn who had the name first and he created a strong rep for himself," explains 50. "Because the content I was creating at the time was aggressive, I utilized the name and gave it my own meaning; I said it was a metaphor for change and that I would do things my way."
Does anyone still call him by his birth name?
"My grandmother," he admits with a blush, "right when she wants me to take out the garbage!"

Jay-Z Scores 11th No. 1 Album, Sells 475,700 Discs in Debut Week
Jay-Z has done it again. The living rap legend has scored his eleventh no. 1 album with his latest disc The Blueprint 3 and surpassed his sales projections by over 125,000 copies.
As previously reported, industry insider hitsdailydouble.com placed Hov at around 300-350,000 for his first week sales, but according to the Nielsen SoundScan the rap megastar sold closer to 475,700. This is no small feat as Jay’s last album American Gangster sold 425,800 units in a much sunnier sales climate. The Brooklyn-bred MC was everywhere promoting BP3, with a star-studded 9-11 benefit at Madison Square Garden airing live on Fuse, a performance with Alicia Keys at the MTV VMAs and interviews on everyone from Oprah to Bill Maher to Steven A. Smith.
Fellow New York vet Raekwon also made an impressive debut this week. The Wu-Tang rapper’s sequel to the 1995 classic Only Built 4 Cuban Linx landed at the no. 4 spot, selling 67,600 copies in its first week.
Climbing four spots up the charts to make it back into the top 10 is the Black Eyed Peas. The group’s latest disc The E.N.D. (Energy Never Dies) sold an additional 10,000 albums this week then last week, earning them a seat at no. 7. The group moved 43,500 units in their 14th week, making their grand total stand at 1,071,100.
Falling 16 spots to no. 24 is Pitbull. The Miami rep’s latest disc, Rebelution sold 17,800 CDs this week, making his two week stats stand at 59,100.
At no. 30 is the collector’s edition of Jay’s first Blueprint album. The new version of the 2001 classic LP that introduced superproducers Kanye West and Just Blaze to the masses, pushed 14,000 units out of the stores this week.
Two spots down is fellow “Renegade” Eminem with his Relapse LP. In his 17th week on The Billboard 200 charts Shady sold 13,700 units, making his overall tally stand at 1,424,600. Directly under Em is Brooklyn MC Fabolous. Loso’s Way cranked out 13,600 from the shelves this week, putting his grand total at 220,900.
Next week look for new releases from Kid Cudi, Drake, Lil Boosie, Q-Tip, Trick Daddy, New Boyz, M.O.P., N.O.R.E., Capone, KRS-One and Buckshot to make The Billboard 200
Bench Warrant Issued For Rapper Beanie Sigel
A bench warrant was issued for rapper Beanie Sigel, after he failed to appear at a court date related to a marijuana possession charge yesterday (September 14) in New Jersey.
State police stopped Beanie Sigel and three companions in August, as the rapper was heading to perform at Kelly’s Bar on Rexall Avenue around 12:45 am.
Sigel, born Dwight Grant, was arrested when police found him in possession of under 50 grams of marijuana.
The driver and another passenger, Karl Dargan, 24 and Justin Gaines, 25, were also charged with drug possession.
Judge Gregory McCloskey issued a bench warrant for Sigel after he missed a mandatory court appearance, according to The Burlington County Times.
Beanie Sigel’s latest album Broad Street Bully hit stores on September 1.
