Exclusive: DJ Drama responds to Young Jeezy, “I never charged Jeezy for nothin’…”

This past week, excerpts of Toshitaka Kondo’s September XXL coverstory on Young Jeezy leaked (via the homie Karen Civil)….revealing Jeezy’s harsh words about his former-musical-collaborator, DJ Drama. When asked about his relationship with the Gangsta Grillz DJ, Jeezy says:

“…He’s a cornball. You made millions off my mixtapes, to the point where the fuckin’ feds scooped you up for bootlegging. I never even made the money he made off of Trap or Die or Tha Streets Iz Watchin, because they were selling and distributing them and making money.

I’m not hating. But we will never do a mixtape together. I didn’t charge that nigga for [contributing a verse to the song “5000 Ones,” on Drama’s official Atlantic Records debut]. But then when I need [a tape for one of my artists], and you want to charge me $20,000?… I’ll slap the shit out of Drama. He knows that. He wasn’t loyal…”

This is hardly the first indication of beef between Jeezy and Drama. From onstage statements to altercations between Jeezy’s CTE crew and Drama’s Aphilliates crew (at the Notorious film premiere, and at DJ Trauma’s birthday party), the tension has bubbled over with increasing intensity.

But in response to Jeezy’s quotes, DJ Drama reached out to categorically deny the claim that he charged Jeezy for mixtape projects….

DJ DRAMA’s statement:

“After reading Jeezy’s unprovoked insults in that XXL article, it seems like the guy’s pretty emotional if u ask me! Maybe he’s dealing wit some things in his career, I don’t know. He did an interview a few months back with Elliot Wilson on RapRadar. and said the total opposite! He was talkin bout, “Drams the homie and we may work together again, etc.” Now I’ve never spoken on our issues because I believe grown man business is just that, and running to the media to whine is not my thing.

But more importantly, his statement about me trying to charge him $20k for a mixtape is a BOLD FACE LIE. I never charged Jeezy for nothin’. I did two Slick Pulla tapes (4th Ward Day, Election Day) for free and a Bloodraw tape (The Indictment Papers) for free. Anything Jeezy ever needed from me, I did without hesitation. He doesn’t want to deal with the real reason why he’s mad.

The tension between us actually started when I deejayed his USDA release party (FOR FREE) and I played a Gucci Mane record. He stormed out of his own party and didn’t speak to me for about 2-3 months. Me, being a DJ, I was just rockin’ the crowd and giving the people what they had been requesting. I don’t get involved in that other stuff.

I could go deeper into his angry reaction to me working with Gucci but, again, I’m a stand-up guy. I’m loyal to those who are loyal to me. I’m not even thinkin bout Jeezy. Why all the tough talk to the DJ who doesn’t say nothin’ about him? Jeezy didn’t say nothin’ tough when rappers dissed him like Pimp C.

I was shocked by his cowardly attempt to try to slander my name in the upcoming XXL article. And what’s the most shocking is to see him side with the FEDs in my arrest! Wow, since when did that become gangster?!? I’m chillin, never said nothin’ negative about dude. Check his character…or better yet, ask those around him that he’s done dirty. Ask the folks who ain’t with him anymore, like Coach K, Twin, his former security Big Sam, or my homie Roccett…

We doin’ our thing over here. I’m workin on albums, Gangsta Grillz Vol 3., traveling the world and celebrating success! And I’m still the Mixtape President!”

Auto-Tune Company Say Sales Are Up Since Jay-Z's D.O.A Hit Airwaves

The rapper Jay-Z may have wanted to wipe out Auto-Tune, but perhaps he’s just added fuel to the digital fire.

The Auto-Tune software packageAuto-Tune, a software package made by Antares Audio Technologies, was designed to allow engineers to correct a singer’s pitch, but with the “wrong” settings it can turn the human voice into something that sounds like a finely-tuned warbling robot. Jay-Z’s latest single, “D.O.A. (Death of Auto-Tune),” rails against the overuse of the program in popular music. The video for the song, which was released a month ago, even shows a stack of Auto-Tune boxes bursting into flames.

It’s not every day that an influential celebrity takes that kind of swipe at a product — much less a piece of software. But despite Jay-Z’s best efforts, Antares says sales are up.

“The Jay-Z controversy is great,” said Marco Alpert, vice president of marketing at Antares. “We couldn’t buy P.R. like this.”

Although Mr. Alpert declined to give specifics, he did say the company had seen a boost in business amid the flurry of recent attention.

Mr. Alpert said Auto-Tune’s move from music studios to viral videos and fast food commercials had been an interesting evolution.

“I think Jay-Z said he saw Auto-Tune used in a Wendy’s commercial, and that pushed him over the edge,” he said, adding that the company was thrilled by the migration of its product into popular culture.

“We make no value judgments on how people use our product,” he said. “It’s a tool to be used by the people who buy it, and we’re happy when consumers find new uses for it.”

One of the earliest examples of Auto-Tune being used to distort a singer’s voice was on Cher’s hit “Believe” in 1998. “We really didn’t foresee that the trend would last as long as it did,” Mr. Alpert said.

Rihanna Says She's Upset And In Shock Over Chris Brown Apology Video

RIHANNA is in shock after her ex-boyfriend CHRIS BROWN released a public video apologising for his fight with the singer in February (09). The Kiss Kiss hitmaker pleaded guilty to attacking Rihanna in June (09) and was sentenced to five years supervised probation and community service. He was also ordered to stay away from the Umbrella hitmaker. He kept tightlipped about the incident after he was advised to not speak out by his attorney, but earlier this month (Jul09) he released a two-minute video on TMZ.com expressing his "deepest regret" for his actions.
But Rihanna has been left reeling at the public statement because it has led to more publicity about the fall-out.
A source tells Britain's Now magazine, "She's in total shock. It was like he gave her another blow, albeit one of a different kind. All she knows is that it's in the news again and that's the one thing she didn't want. She's been trying to put it behind her and move on as fast as possible.
"They spoke earlier last week and Chris made no mention of any public statement then. She wishes he'd given her at least a heads-up about it. But that's Chris, always thinking of himself first and forgetting how this would impact on her."

Kanye West Contributed To Kim Kardashian, Reggie Bush Break-Up?

So, earlier this week, it was confirmed that Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush officially broke up. While, it was reported that their relationship ended because of long periods apart, rumors are surfacing that Kanye West may have contributed.

According to FoxNews.com, Bush saw text messages from the rapper/producer on Kim's phone and wasn't too happy about it.

An insider tells the news organization that Bush flipped out, due to the nature of the messages.

"Reggie saw text messages on Kim's phone from Kanye West and flipped out on her," the source tells FOX411.

"The texts referenced a night they hung out, how much fun he had, how hot Kim was, and more racy things that got Reggie's imagination running."

The source said Bush confront Kim about the texts, and the couple had a huge fight, resulting in the break-up. Both reportedly realized there was trust issues, and agreed to end things.

At press time, the rumors were unconfirmed. Both West and Kim's camps were not available for comment.

Loso's Way Album Release Party (BUY YOUR COPY NOW)

Young Jeezy airs out DJ Drama

For months there has been speculation behind the beef between the two men who saw their popularity skyrocket with their 2005 mixtape, “Trap Or Die.” In the newest issue of XXL, which touts Jeezy on the cover, the self proclaimed “trapper of the year” spoke on his current feelings towards “Mr. Thanksgiving.” Here’s an excerpt:

“Drama just started acting like a bitch. Drama wanted to be Khaled, but he didn’t want to help nobody. He just changed, period. Look at his crew. The same niggas ain’t around him. You ain’t never been in no streets. I could never have no beef with a nigga like that. He’s a cornball.

He wasn’t loyal. But me putting my hands on that man ain’t gonna make him respect what I’m saying. I’m just not gonna fuck with him anymore. ”

I think he felt like, 'I'm entering a world of comedy here. I got to be on my game.' He was really funny, willing to say anything. Jay-Z To Suprise Drake W/ Secret Show Appearance Tonight

An unnamed source close to the event says that Hov's showing up to jam on a few songs at the end of The Roots' set. An email to the PR firm repping the event got a very, very quick turnaround (i.e. our phone blew up about five seconds later). The PR person hadn't heard anything, but was told that they hadn't heard anything 'so far,' though they were getting information as it came along. We're already dead-sure Lykke Li's going to be one of the guests--a press release sampling: 'Please note that we are announcing the first of our special guest performers. Solange Knowles will perform with Theophilus London. Stay tuned for more announcements this week. For instance, who will be the special collaborator with THE ROOTS, hmmmm you will know in 'A Little Bit.' Yeah, not too hard to figure out. The PR person has yet to get back to us with an answer. So we're running this as such: someone told us it was going to happen, the PR person gave us a lightening fast turnaround on email, but hasn't given us an out-and-out-denial.

Lil Wayne Introduces Young Money Crew

Young Money, baby! The Young Money album is slated for November 24, as is Lil Wayne's Rebirth LP, according to a source in his camp.

No doubt about it, the New Orleans Fireman is loaded. Rap's most popular mic king just kicked off Young Money Presents: The America's Most Wanted Music Festival, and one of Weezy's main goals on the tour is to make sure his Young Money artists get shine. While you know all about Drake (he's a Fire Starter alum), Nicki Minaj and newest member Omarion, we thought we'd put you onto game about the rest of the clique.

"Gudda, he's got this aggression about him," Wayne told us about the artist who's been with him the longest. Gudda Gudda has been riding with Wayne since he was a teenager on Cash Money.

"What people don't know, Gudda started rapping several years ago," Weezy added. "He started rapping because I said, 'I like your look. You should rap.' I wrote his first rap for him, and I never written another rap for him ever since that day I told him he should be a rapper."

Representing the younger faction are Lil Twist, who's on the tour riding his Segway scooter around, and Lil Chuckee, who uses his feet to cover ground backstage.

"His energy, he's a pure entertainer," Weezy said of Chuckee. Wayne is also a fan of Chuck's swag. "I know that kid is gonna make it. It's like in sports when you got that Kobe Bryant. You don't know what to do with him, whether to play him the guard, center, small forward — you just know we're gonna win with him."

Rounding out the clique are mostly names you've heard of: Mack Maine, Tyga, Jae Millz, D. Woods' sister Shanell (also known as SNL) and T-Streets.

"He's more like my brother," Wayne said of Streets. "He's been with me since Gudda. He's like my protector. Anybody wanna play games, T-Streets is right there. So I make sure T-Streets is on everything I do, always around."

Fabolous Projected To Sell 100K in First Week

Looks like Fabolous is on track to getting his very first no. 1 album.

Industry insiders at hitsdailydouble.com have tabulated their one-day sales numbers and project the rapper’s new disc, Loso’s Way, to sell between 95,000 and 100,000 in its first week.

If the estimates are correct, this will be Fab’s first no. 1 album on The Billboard 200. 2007’s From Nothin’ to Something, the Brooklyn rapper’s debut on Def Jam, came close but only peaked at no. 2 with 159,000 units sold.

Fab recently graced the cover of XXL’s first annual Hip-Hop Soul Issue along with “Throw it in the Bag” partner The-Dream. Loso’s Way boasts several rap-and-b songs, including collaborations with Ne-Yo, Ryan Leslie, Jeremih, Trey Songz, Keri Hilson and Marsha Ambrosius. The album, loosely based on the 1993 gangster flick Carlito’s Way, has production by The Alchemist, Jermaine Dupri and The J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League.

The official Nielsen SoundScan statistics will be released next Wednesday (August 5).

*He’s Got A Big Ego* Kanye West Proclaims Himself To Be The New ”King Of Pop”

There’s nobody who can match me in sales and in respect so it only makes sense for me to take over Michael’s crown and become the new King,’ Kanye West says. ——————————————————————————–

Following Michael Jackson’s sudden death on June 25, Kanye West claims he will become the next King of Pop, replacing the late singer. “You know everyone loves and respects Michael but times change. It’s so sad to see Michael gone but it makes a path for a new King of Pop and I’m willing to take that on,” so he told Scrape TV.

On what makes him deserve the title, Kanye said, “There’s nobody who can match me in sales and in respect so it only makes sense for me to take over Michael’s crown and become the new King.” The rapper then added, “First there was Elvis [Presley], then there was Michael, now in the 21st century it’s Kanye’s time to rule. I have nothing but respect for Michael but someone needs to pick up where he left off and there’s nobody better than me to do that. I am the new King of Pop.”

Furthermore, Kanye reportedly has reached out to the Jackson family to obtain official permission to use the title but so far received no response from them. It is believed that the family is still mourning over Michael’s death.

“King of Pop” was a honorific title popularized by Elizabeth Taylor when she presented Michael Jackson with Artist of the Decade prize around 1989. At that time, the British-American actress proclaimed Michael, who has sold million copies of records, as “the true king of pop, rock and soul.”

Drake’s Record Deal More Lucrative Than Most Think — Details Revealed

When we reported that Drake finally inked a deal with Cash Money/Universal, some of our readers criticized the rapper for his decision, pointing to previous Cash Money artists who never released albums.

Well, according to L.A. Times report, Drake made out pretty nicely, as the paper revealed some of the specifics regarding the rapper's record deal.

Even the rapper thinks so. "They have given me one of the greatest situations in hip-hop," he said of his team.

"Under the unusually lucrative agreement he struck with Aspire/Young Money/Cash Money Records distributed through Universal, Drake received a $2-million advance," the report reads. "He retains the publishing rights to his songs and cedes only around 25% of his music sales revenues to the label as a 'distribution fee,' his managers said."

His managers say Drake isn't owned by any record company, nor do they control or have any stake in his masters, his touring profits, etc.

In recent years, major record labels had adopted what are known as "360 deals", a financially restrictive agreement where labels would have a stake in an artist's tour earnings, merchandising, as well as any other income they earn outside of music sales.

"Those deals don't happen anymore," said Cortez Bryant, Lil Wayne longtime manager and one of the members of Drake's team.

Now, with a deal in place, Drake is set to lead off Cash Money Records next five releases in 2009. His debut album, titled Thank Me Later, is due next, followed by a new album from Birdman, a compilation from Lil Wayne's Young Money imprint, and then Weezy's highly anticipated rock album Rebirth.

Kid Cudi Talks Role In New HBO Series, "It Was Important To Branch Away From Music"

Rap newcomer Kid Cudi recently discussed his role in the forthcoming HBO series "How To Make It In America" and why it was vital for him to place music aside for his role.
Click here to find out more!

Despite his heavy rap buzz from records like "Day 'N' Nite" and association with Kanye West, Cudi said he intentionally wanted to sway from music with the new television project.

"It was important to me early on to branch away from music and actually do something outside my comfort zone. When we were developing my character with the writers, I was telling them, 'Man, I don't want to be anything that has to do with music,' just because that's not really acting." (The Boom Box)

Cudi also hinted at his character's role in the upcoming series.

"I have a lead role," Cudi said in an interview. "My character's name is Domingo Dean. I actually named my character after both of my brothers - Dean, who lives in Phoenix, being one of them, and Domingo. My character's kind of the comic relief. He's really witty - a hopeless romantic but a player at the same time." (AZ Central)

The series will reportedly be led by Hollywood actor Mark Wahlberg.

Rapper Kid Cudi is launching an acting career - the hip-hip star is teaming up with Mark Wahlberg for a new TV show. Cudi has signed up to appear in the series "How To Make It In America," a new comedy which will be produced by Wahlberg and the team behind his hit show "Entourage." Cudi admits he has always wanted to try acting, but insists he will not be giving up his music any time soon.

Tray Deee Ends Beef With Snoop Dogg, Says He’ll Never ‘F*** With Goldie Loc Again’

Rapper Tray Deee, once a member of the platinum-selling trio Tha Eastsidaz alongside Snoop Dogg and Goldie Loc, is still in prison, but he recently spoke about his fallout with his former group members.

In an interview with AllHipHop.com, the Long Beach, California rapper revealed that he has buried the hatchet with Snoop after nearly five years of no communication.

The two actually spoke, and agreed to leave their past in the past.

"I finally enjoyed a warm conversation with Snoop Dogg after over five years of no communication whatsoever," Tray Deee said. "We agreed to let the past go like water under the proverbial bridge and we even shared a few genuine laughs."

Despite a line of communication being open, the rapper said he and Snoop still have problems financially. According to Tray Deee, there was a contractual dispute that lead to their falling out, and that problem still exists.

"We still have some existing financial discrepancies left to resolve and from our roughly 10 minute conversation, I could not gauge whether or not he is yet prepared to face that reality," Tray Deee shared. "Honestly, I once cared for the dude like the little brother that I never had. So, while I detest the circumstances which led to our dissolution and resulting enmity, I can't proclaim any lingering hatred for Snoop because my love for him was authentic. Insha-Allah which means 'God-willing,' everything will work out for the best in due time."

As far as Goldie Loc, he says working with him will never happen, simply because Goldie never showed any loyalty to him although they were in the same boat when it came to the "financial discrepancies" he talked about.

"Now Goldie Loc, he has never exhibited any degree of loyalty toward me," explained Tray Deee. "When our contractual abuse was uncovered by our then manager, I instructed Goldie that the only chance we had at rectifying the situation is if we stood unified, but he continued to run behind Snoop, which caused me to appear as the trouble-maker/bad guy. The few times I've managed to speak with him since my incarceration, he's been evasive or outright lied to me.

"... I have no interest of f***in' with Goldie Loc ever again -- except to be compensated by him for prominently featured on his CD," he continued.

While it sounds like an Eastsidaz reunion is out of the question, Tray Deee hopes to reunite with Snoop once his prison sentence is up.

He is currently serving his 12-year sentence at the California Men's Colony State Prison and his earliest possible release date is 2013

Katt Williams Dodges Gun Charge In New York

Manhattan prosecutors said that gun charges against comedian Katt Williams have been dropped, said reports.

According to the Associated Press, prosecutors moved Thursday to have the case dismissed because they "can't prove the charges beyond a reasonable doubt."

Williams was arrested in November 2008 when police pulled over a Mercedes bus and red Cadillac Escalade belonging to him for missing a license plate. When the approached the vehicles, three guns were in plain sight inside the vehicles.

When the 37-year-old comedian exited a nearby building, he told the cops that the vehicles were his, and the officers arrested him on the spot.

Williams was booked and spent most of that day behind bars. He did later post $25,000 bond just in time for a scheduled performance at Carnegie Hall.

He raced to the venue, and just made his show -- an hour late, though.

Defense lawyer Charles Ross said prosecutors learned the guns were legally registered in other states to two men who were with Williams.

Ross said he was "pleased that the DA's office did the right thing."

Kim Kardashian Reggie Bush Call it Quits after over 2 Years Together

Access Hollywood reports:

Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush have called it quits, a rep for the reality star confirmed to Access Hollywood.

Kim, 28, began dating the 24-year-old NFL star in April 2007.

According to a source close to the former couple, the split was a “mutual decision.”

In June, Kim hit her blog to dispel rumors the two were set to walk down the aisle.“Nobody cheated. This was just a case of conflicting schedules and their lives going in different directions,” the source told Access.

“I am not engaged!!!” she wrote at the time. “I don’t know where all this comes from!… Don’t worry guys, you will be the first to know if and when I get engaged!!… Well after I tell my family, of course!”

The couple first met at the 2007 ESPY Awards after they were introduced by mutual friend – and Reggie’s former USC teammate, fellow NFL star Matt Leinart.

“We met at the [2007] ESPY Awards,” Kim previously told AccessHollywood.com of her initial encounter with Reggie. “My stepdad, Bruce, and I were walking to our seats and Matt called my name. When I went over, he was sitting with Reggie…. Matt introduced me to the love of my life and we will always be grateful.”

Snoop To Hit Studio With Anita Baker

When it comes to making music, Snoop Dogg is known, not only for his affinity for different genres, but also his attraction to different eras. Take, for example, last year’s eccentric hit, “Sensual Seduction,” which was a nostalgic ode to the retro soul and funk sound coming out of the 70s and into the 80s. Snoop has also worked frequently with old school R&B artists like Charlie Wilson (on songs such as 2004’s “Signs”) and The Dramatics (who appeared on Snoop’s debut album, Doggystyle).

Snoop will now add Anita Baker to the list of successful and respected pioneers in which he has worked with. The eight-time Grammy winner and multi-platinum artist is planning to release her seventh studio album next spring, and told Billboard.com that Snoop will be featured on an adaptation of Curtis Mayfield’s “Give Me Your Love (Love Song)” from the Superfly soundtrack.

“We do it in a very contemporary way,” Baker explained, “a very grown-up way.”

In addition to praising Snoop for the growth in his music, Baker also expressed her pleasant surprise at Snoop Dogg’s relationship with his wife.

“It’s lovely—who knew that Snoop is madly in love with his wife, you know? We’ve got a chance to see that in the way his music has grown, so when he comes in to do dialogue over that love theme, it becomes very grown-up and contemporary at the same time.”

The album is expected to release in spring 2010.

Swizz Beatz On Re-Uniting Ruff Ryders, "Jadakiss Was The Hardest One To Catch"

Producer Swizz Beatz recently spoke on what motivated him to reunite the original members of Ruff Ryders and why Jadakiss was the most difficult to get a hold of.

In addition to speaking on Ruff Ryders, Swizzy also hinted at being involved in the new Drake and Lil Wayne albums set to drop later this year.

"Me and my uncles and the fans too hit me up all the time," Swizz said about getting the Ruff Ryders together. 'Where's the Dog? Where's Eve?' We gotta do it for them even if we don't do it for ourselves but DMX is in an amazing space. Drag-on is here with me right now. We just having fun doing what we do. Jadakiss is the hardest one to catch. He's like the busiest but everybody was like one, two, three...It's all family love though...Look out for X, look out for Eve, look out for the new Drake album, look out for the new Wayne. I got some very amazing friends. They're rich, I'm not rich, I'm blessed." (Ms Drama TV)

Swizz also recently said fans could expect a return of X's popular rapping style.

"I'm about to drop this joint that was supposed to be DMX and Jadakiss, but it's gonna be DMX and Eve," Swizz said in an interview. "I want people to hear Eve in that hard element again. X is on his A-game. They're in trouble. Just the lineup of music I have already done, ignorant! X is gonna come back so crazy. They are both on the way...I paused up on my album sh*t...I'm on a different level of expressing myself. I'd rather express musically than lyrically. But any minute, I can go in the studio and jump on some sh*t I made for somebody else and not wanna give it to them."

Young Jeezy Calls America's Most Wanted Tour 'A Bigger Plateau'

Atlanta MC is bringing a nine-piece band to the Lil Wayne-headlined tour.

SCRANTON, Pennsylvania — No sleep till ... Scranton? Young Jeezy spent all night recording his Thug Motivation 103 LP, then flew out early Monday morning (July 27) to Pennsylvania for the opening of Young Money Presents: The America's Most Wanted Music Festival.

Young went straight from the plane to the Toyota Pavilion stage to practice for Monday night's kickoff. The bill features Jeremih, the just-added Pleasure P, Drake, Jeezy and headliner Lil Wayne.

"It's definitely a bigger plateau," the Snowman said, just a few hours before the show, comparing it to previous stage treks like the Georgia Power and Street Dreams tours. "Me and Wayne went on my Street Dreams Tour. That's two and half, three years ago. This is our third time being out. But this is amphitheaters — it's outside, so you have a whole different feel."

Jeezy said that while his crowds have grown more diverse over the years, he still raps for his environment when he gets on the mic.

"Yeah, I still do it for where I came from, I do it for the 'hood every time," Young said. "But it's good to see [a new audience]. It's broadening, every year, every time. To be doing it here — we in PA, man. This looks different. I'm just ready to see what the crowd is gonna be like. How they gonna feel. It looks like energy already."

Jeezy was impressed with the size of the stage as well as the intricate sets that will take place on it. Young also said his game is being stepped up for this five-week festival run.

"For the most part, you gotta really be creative at this point," he said. "I been doing this five, six years strong. You gotta switch the show up a little bit. I brought the band out. I got a eight-, nine-piece band. I'mma go in."

A few years ago, even Jeezy couldn't imagine himself backed by live instrumentation onstage.

"It sounds crazy, but I got a lot of musical music," he said. "Despite all the ghetto classics I got, I got music. I wanted to present it as music. Especially since I'm working on a new album, and that's kinda where I'm going with [the sound]. I wanted to get them started early. But this feels right. This is the plateau to put that on and you give it to them."

Known for her sex-laced hard rhymes herself, footage of an interview from earlier this summer landed online and featured Nicki making a sexual advance towards Foxy.

"She always made me feel like, 'I like you,' and that's big coming from her," Nicki said alongside Foxy. "In my situation with [Lil] Wayne, Foxy was one of the first people who said 'Do that sh*t' like she compared it to Jay-Z and herself at the time. She said f*ck with Wayne...Want a menage? No, I'ma turn Foxy Brown out. Y'all ain't ever heard Foxy on no crazy sh*t. I'ma turn her out. She the baddest b*tch in the game right now, she's looking real succulent, real good right now. She's turning me on right now. Nah [laughs] but I'ma put it on Foxy, but yeah, shout-out to her for being a real b*tch and to all y'all fake b*tches out there, please, no h*mo."

In addition to calling out the alleged fake paperwork, Alfa also said we did not snitch on a former drug dealer, but did lie against him.

"I ain't never snitched on nobody," Alfa promised. "A lot of people read, but they don't understand. They hear but they don't listen...Dude never had a heroin case, he had a cocaine case. So I know whoever sent that document out, somebody typed it up from something and put something together but I'm gonna give y'all the real deal of how it was. I didn't know Ali, don't know Ali to the day...Somebody put the pressure on me and it wasn't the government or nobody like that. They wanted me to basically lie on this dude,it was up to me to either play the hand I was dealt or fold. If I play the hand I was dealt, I'm looking at 30 to 40 [years in prison]. If I fold, that means I'm still in the game. So I went ahead and folded. From the time I did it, I was remorseful about it. It hurt me because I ain't snitched on dude, I lied on this dude....I was loyal to somebody that made me lie on somebody."

Max B Attacks The Game For "Wavy" Rap, "N*ggas Is Using My Slang"

Speaking specifically on The Game's recent usage of "wavy," Max B expressed his reaction to the emergence of swagger jackers.

"I'm gone now so these n*ggas need something to suck on while I'm gone," B said in a phone interview. "I don't know on this 'I'm Wavy,' I ain't hear 'Free Max B' on the radio. I ain't got homage. These n*ggas ain't paying homage...Shout-outs to the d*ck suckers, I mean, that's all I can say man. I'm not hearing no homage, n*ggas is d*ck sucking. I'm gone, it's like they happy. They can finally use the slang without me riding on 'em. You know when I ride on a n*gga it's uncomfortable. N*ggas is using my slang, it ain't nothing, they know where it came from. They know I'm one of the biggest n*ggas in the world when it comes to this rap sh*t. I'm world renowned. I get letters from Austrailia. N*gga just wrote me from Hong Kong the other day, this sh*t is crazy. These n*ggas jockin' Max B. They been jockin' the 'Oww' and 'wavy' when I was out but now I'm gone they like 'F*ck it, he's gone, what's he gonna do now?'

Maino on STDS: ‘Yea, I Had Gonorrhea Definitely’

Nonprotected sex in this day and age is like walking into a war zone without a bulletproof vest on. While many don't seem to care about the risk and have to make that regular doctor visit, it's always under wraps. You never know who has what.

Celebrities aren't immune either. They don't want to admit when they contract an STD, but those celebs aren't as honest as rapper Maino, who's had to get his fair share of shots and isn't afraid to admit it.

In a recent interview with Sirius Shade 45's Lip Service radio show with Angela Yee and Leah Rose (via TeamYee.tv), the Brooklyn rapper admitted to catching an STD at one point in his life.

"When I was a little kid, yea," Maino responded when Angela Yee asked if he'd ever been burnt.

"Young man, 13, 14," he explained. "I had gonorrhea definitely. Yea. I didn't say sh** to her. I knew what it was. I went to the doctor, got my shot ... Shot in the ass."

According to the rapper, he was young and dumb, and was never disciplined by his parents, which he credits to his non-use of a condom.

"I didn't get punished. That's probably why I was getting burnt," said Maino.

Maybe next time, he'll know better.

Lil Wayne Prepares For Explosive America's Most Wanted Set

SCRANTON, Pennsylvania — Lil Wayne wasn't scheduled to go onstage during the dress rehearsal Sunday night at the Toyota Pavilion at Montage Mountain, 24 hours before the launch of Young Money Presents: The America's Most Wanted Music Festival.

Weezy F. Baby was simply supposed to sit and watch his band and dancers go through the set. So, when the practice run of his set began, Wayne and his Young Money family were watching from about 12 rows back.

As "A Milli" played, the smoke and explosions were right on point. "They say I'm rappin' like Big, Jay and Tupac," his recorded voice repeated a few times, with blast of smoke coming from the floor each time he said the line.

But finally, Wayne, wearing a white T-shirt, black-and-red basketball shorts and black-and-red Jordans, got up out of his seat and hit the stage to finish the song.

"Got Money" followed, with Young Money member Mack Maine coming out. All indications are that Wayne's show is going to be another big production — dancers, band, special effects and an intricate stage set that includes a few big screens.

Weezy strolled around the stage with confidence and ease, drinking a bottle of water as the music for "Mr. Carter" kicked in. By this time, Young Money family member Nicki Minaj had made her way to the box seats and watched while another of Wayne's crew, newcomer Lil Twist, rolled around the audience area on a Segway scooter.

Wayne's energy level went up a couple of notches when the music for "Go DJ" came on, and the Louisiana Fireman told imaginary spectators to put their hands in the air. Finally, when Wayne's spinner put on the music for Notorious B.I.G.'s "Get Money," Wayne informed him that was the wrong record.

"Uh, uh! Uh, UH!" Wayne said in his mic. He told the DJ to play one of is signature theme songs, "Fireman." This transitioned to "Money on My Mind" which led into Big and Junior M.A.F.I.A.'s "Get Money." Wayne actually started rhyming Biggie's legendary lyrics: "You wanna sip Mo' on my living room flo'," before switching up the words some.

Lil Wayne Rehearses For The America's Most Wanted Music Festival

"Mack, why she wanna stick me for my paper?" he rapped while looking directly at Mack Maine, who made it back to the audience seats to watch Wayne alongside an assortment of the crew, including Lil Chuckee.

"No 'Show Me What You Got,' '' Wayne informed his band, as he looked down at a set list and made instant edits to his program. "I do not know that sh--."

After a few more records, which included a tribute to a genre defining hip-hop classic, Drake came in and shook hands and got hugs from the crew sitting in the audience chairs.

"Oh, that's new," he said, looking at the list on the ground for the next record. "You just threw that in. But that's OK, c'mon." The band began playing a beat, but Wayne was obviously not into the doing the record.

"I don't know a word of this sh--," he kept repeating in a sing-songy flow. Then he just started freestyling in the same delivery. "I just wanna f--- you, baby/ I can't believe it."

Eventually, Drake made it to the stage. Fans will be happy to hear that Drake's torn ACL seems to be healing nicely, and the blue-chip performer will be on the tour. He made a decision 48 hours ago to go on the tour despite the fact that he's still recovering from the injury. Drake did tell MTV News that because of his ailment, he won't be able to have his own 30-minute set, but his presence will be made on the tour nonetheless.

After "Best I Ever Had," Wayne came out and announced, "Make some noise for the hottest mutha----a on the planet!" The music for "Successful" came on, and Weezy informed everybody, "By the way, I do not know my verse. I do not know my verse."

Wayne said he may know the words by show time, and would let everyone know if he did. After the set, the whole crew shared smiles as Wayne went onto his tour bus very calmly and quickly.

"The thing about Wayne is that he's just as at ease during rehearsal as he is during the real show," Drake said later.

Drake Says He Always Knew Hov Collabo Wasn’t The Single, “Run This Town” Was Originally A Rihanna Track

“I don’t know who [DJ Skee] came up with that rumor to be honest, but I always knew what Jay’s first single was going to be,” the hype-building Toronto MC told the BoomBox this afternoon. “Me and Jay did a lot of work together. Maybe at one point he was considering doing it and someone got over-excited and put out a press release tweet that I was going to be on the first single.”

So what does Drake, who is working on his Young Money/Universal Republic studio debut ‘Thank Me Later’ following the rousing success of his mixtape ‘So Far Gone,’ think about the chest-beating track? “I think Jay made a great choice,” he says. “I think the ‘Run This Town’ song is phenomenal. I think Kanye kills that s—. I actually heard that song when it was a Rihanna track.”

As for now, Drake is optimistic that he will still appear on Mr. Carter’s upcoming September 11 release. “I had a conversation about it a couple of days ago,” Drake says of his studio work with the Jugga man. “We have more than one record to pick from. Jay-Z is one of those guys that’s just too good. I would be definitely disappointed if I wasn’t on it. I think it’s going to be a legendary project. I have my fingers crossed.”

He kinda hinted to MTV on the Best I Ever Had set that the collabo wasn’t a single.

Ghostface Offers His Take On Chris Brown's Apology

Ghostface Killah recently took a break from plugging his new R&B album to give his opinion on Chris Brown and his recent apology for assaulting Rihanna.

Although he says he forgives the embattled singer, Ghostface says he's not sure what effect the apology will have on Chris Brown's career.

"I guess it's good he said sorry," he said in an interview with SOHH. "He ain't gettin' no spins. Then I heard Jay-Z was like, 'Yo tell them motherf*ckers don't play that n*gga's sh*t.' N*ggas ain't playing it. He a young dude. It's good that he apologized though. I don't know to what effect that it's going to have on the other people though but he did what he had to do. Now he has to learn from it. I hope that he get back in the game and just do what he do. Just don't do that sh*t no more because now you know."

UPDATE: Nas Ordered To Pay $40k in Support for Kelis and Child

Earlier reports of Nas having to pay over $55,000 in support have been proven false, as AllHipHop.com has confirmed the Queens emcee has been ordered to pay $39, 498.00 per month.

The verdict was put in place until a September 8 hearing, when a judge will again review the monetary stipulations.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Louis Meisinger also ruled that Nas will have to pay Kelis’ $45,000 lawyer and forensic accountant fees.

Nas’ lawyer Mark Kaplan requested that Kelis be paid a $20,000 payment until the September hearing, but Judge Meisinger argued that the singer was entitled to maintain her marriage lifestyle, and that the monetary judgment was commensurate with the two parties’ income filings.

In addition, Kelis will have 30 days to decide whether to return to the couple’s Los Angeles property, which Nas is paying for.

Kelis’ high-powered divorce attorney Laura Wasser defended the ruling, stating that Kelis’ income has significantly dropped this year.

She also confirmed that her client is searching for a new label home.

Originally, Kelis reportedly was seeking $80,000 a month in total spousal and child support.

According to court records, Nas' monthly contributions will be $30,471 to Kelis in temporary spousal support, and $9,027 to his newborn son Knight.

Nas was last seen on Tuesday night celebrating the birth of the couple’s son at an all-star Queensbridge concert.

At press time, neither Nas or Kelis could be reached for comment.

Click here to find out more!

The singer also revealed his "final" release's title.

"I'm almost finished with Love King," Dream revealed in an interview. "It's the third album and my final album, actually. I'm not doing an album after that. I've accomplished what I've accomplished. I feel like I'd rather kill The-Dream than somebody else kill me. So that's the big headline there, killing The-Dream...It's over with, so nobody has to worry about 'Has he lost it,' 'When's it gonna drop,' 'Where's it at.' I'm giving you the last record 'cause I said it was the last record before you telling me which one is the last record. I'll just tell you." (The Hip Hop Chronicle)

Despite his claims of the next album being his last, he previously spoke on making a collaboration project alongside Kanye West earlier this year.

"It was first thought of by me," Dream said in an interview. "I was in Miami at the time, and I gave Kanye a call and said, 'The best thing would be for me and you to do an album.' I feel he's at a certain place in hip-hop, I'm at a certain place in R&B, and lyrically, I'm just in a certain place in my lifetime. Let's take the best of both worlds and put it on a CD and try to make something we can sell to the consumers. He says he's with it. We're gonna try to make it happen. I told him, 'Let me lift my profile up a little bit.'...It wouldn't take that long at all, once we got the concept."

News Reporter Goes In On Karrine "Superhead" Steffans + Cuts Her Interview Off ["Just Some Video Rump Shaker" ]

Lebron James admits to smoking marijuana in High school

In "Shooting Stars," a book written by James and co-author Buzz Bissinger, James has admitted to smoking pot. James revealed he and his teammates smoked marijuana one night after getting access to a hotel room in Akron. Also in the book James is qouted saying "I was arrogant, dubbing myself "The Chosen One," James said. "In hindsight, I should have kept quiet, but I also was what I was, a teenager where every reporter in the world seemed to be rushing toward me at once."...and..."We had become big-headed jerks, me in particular," James said, "and we are to blame for that, but so are adults who treated us that way and then sat back and smugly watched the self-destruction."

James also touches on the contraversial subject of the loan his mother obtained to rent a $50,000 HUMMER SUV, "Was the vehicle excessive, with its bank of three televisions? Maybe. Probably. Of course it was," James said. "So were the BMWs parked in the St. V lot, belonging to fellow students. But nobody ever questioned those."

James states that throughout the obstacles and constant media torment he and his friends prevailed, bringing them closer.
